About Awakin Wisdom

Our Story

At Awakin Wisdom, we meet you where you are on your wellness journey,  guide you through self awareness inquiry and get you to your self defined goal.

As an NBCHWC (National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach) certified coach, wellness means whole person well-being (mind, body and spirit).  

Today, our mission remains the same: to guide people to inner peace and balance in their lives through self awareness and self regulation.

You’ve landed on this page because somewhere inside, you want to improve your health and wellbeing (at either physical, emotional, nutritional or spiritual level) – you’ve come to the right place.  I meet you where you are with whatever is going on for you in the present moment.

From this present moment we work together to move in the direction of not only stable and improved health but also towards a  thriving life that makes you buoyant and filled with joy.   Because whole person care (mind, body, spirit) is what I do.  Our physical ailments are not separate from our emotions or our belief systems – it’s all intertwined.

I am a national board certified health and wellness coach (Wellcoaches and ACLM, Chopra), an Ayurveda consultant and a certified E-RYT500 and YACEP Yoga Teacher with a background in pharmacy.   

I am not a therapist or a physician – if needed, I am happy to refer you to some amazing professionals who can address that part of your life.

Yoga

Yoga is a great tool for keeping the body and mind fit and in sync.  I teach different age groups and styles.

Sound Healing

In the beginning, there was sound and in sound resides frequencies,  and in frequency resides transformative vibrations

Sound bath /Yoga Nidra – Yoga Nidra is a deep restive meditation.  Sound bath is listening to and absorbing different sound frequencies (its said to activate theta waves)

Mantra Chanting – the resonance of chanting mantras (sacred syllablye/words) are known to be beneficial in soothing the mind 

Kirtan – the sheer joy and bliss of singing and dancing with a community
